Part Time Heroes

Every 3rd Wednesday of the month 10-12pm

UK based production duo The Part Time Heroes bring you their monthly foray into broadcasting, The Hideout Sessions Podcast. Recorded in their North London Hideout, they bring you a heavy weight selection of music new and old, along with guest mixes and the occasional visit from a musical buddy or two. Now in it’s third year of broadcasting, the show has built a dedicated worldwide following.

Fast becoming world renowned for their vastly eclectic DJ sets and studio antics, 2009 and early 2010 has seen them tour all over the UK, Europe and Far East as well as remix the likes of Flevans, Lizzy Parks, Kylie Auldist (Tru Thoughts), The Jazz Invaders, Laura Vane & The Vipertones (Social Beats/Unique), Ashley Thomas (Wah Wah 45s) Colonel Red and Siri Svegler (Compost).

The new decade sees the pair go from strength to strength in and out of the studio. Since their debut LP ‘Meanwhile…’ achieved much critical acclaim amongst the Nu-Jazz fraternity across the globe in 2008, they continue to build on their success. The follow up LP of remixes in early 2009, saw the likes of Feature Cast, Scrimshire, Landslide, Boom Clap Batchelors, The Nextmen, Marbert Rocel and The Unforscene giving their own magic touches to PTH productions. The dynamic duo are currently in the studio beginning work on the follow up to ‘Meanwhile…’ as well as putting the finishing touches to a side project entitled The Secret Future Love, (both set for release this year).

So, clear your schedule for an hour or so each month and tune in to The Hideout Sessions…

“Musical Heroics!”
