Tandy Ramraid every Friday 10-12pm
Tandy Ramraid was introduced to music at the tender age of 24, when he heard “Hero” by Enrique Inglesias whilst buying electrical cable trunking in his local Homebase store. However, the trunking turned out to be beneath capacity for the cables running between his VCR and television (mainly due to the presence of SCART cables, whose girth often outweighs that of traditional coaxial cabling) and Tandy was forced to lay dual lengths of trunking alongside each other to accomodate the increased cable width.
Times change, and people move on. Today, Tandy operates an almost entirely wireless entertainment system with the exception of power cables and HDMI connections, all of which are accomodated by adequately sized trunking where possible. However, that first musical encounter has never entirely faded, and Homebase remains an important influence on Tandy’s mashup ghetto style to this day.
